Hallucinogens can be found in natural plants and substances or can be synthetic. Some common natural hallucinogens include: peyote, psilocybin and psilocyn, and dimethyltryptamine (DMT). LSD, or lysergic acid diethylamide, is manufactured from naturally found lysergic acid.
