Audio Visual Events Ltd all started on the 17th August, 1994 with a single video camera and a Sony 3 gun projector. 

Scott worked with Ian Grant from YFC to produce their Town Hall Concerts. Growing in skills and equipment, the commercial market was Scott's area of interest, so he started providing services for Conferences, AGMs, Awards evenings - the list has continued to grow! 

With technology also continuing to change and develop, we've grown our team to include technicians who specialise in each area of the business including the Vision, Audio, and Lighting departments. Let's be honest, we all have our biases, so while Scott's focus and passion may be in vision and new LED screens, the rest of us ensure that the other departments are just as strong and impressive!

As a result of the continuous investment into new equipment, we have moved our warehouse locations five times in 25 years! You can now find us based in Mt Wellington, Auckland along with the good old faithful L300 van that's been with us from the very beginning...
