About Us

CEAT AKKHAN LTD is a joint venture company of CEAT Ltd (India) and A.K. KHAN Co. Ltd. (Bangladesh). We are setting up a state of the art tyre manufacturing facility in Bangladesh. It is the largest investment, in manufacturing sector, by any Indian company in Bangladesh with an investment value of BDT 424 Cr. Presently we have a strong presence in Bangladesh market with four regional offices in Dhaka, Chattogram, Bogura and Jashore.

This Bangladesh project will be an economic boost to Bangladesh by saving foreign exchange through import substitution and reducing trade deficit with India by exporting 30% of the production to India. Other related benefits like generation of nearly 500 direct employment and 300 to 400 indirect employment, skill up gradation and ancillary industries coming up will be of added advantage, including use of local rubber if quality and grade is suitable. It will also contribute to local economy around the manufacturing facility by increasing various economic activities.
