Citylimits Childcare – Hamilton Childcare, Daycare and Preschool Citylimits was established in 1998, to provide family-centred Childcare in a homelike setting. Our Grey St centre is one of the few independently owned childcare centres left in the Waikato. Citylimits opened in a charming, fully renovated two-storey villa, catering for 52 children from birth to five years. In 2000 the operation expanded to encompass a neighbouring bungalow on the same site, which currently houses the Under 2’s With its central location Citylimits is easily accessed by families who work in the CBD or Hamilton East, Innovation Park & Waikato University. Staff place great value in getting to know the families, whanau and communities of our children. Being an independent centre helps Citylimits to best meet the needs of the children and their families. City Limits provides a seamless educational programme in a fun-filled family environment and the staff’s aim is to encourage parents, grandparents and whanau to be as connected to the centre as they can. We believe that this is important to provide the highest standard of care and “a home away from home” as we possibly can. We meet all aspects of compliance demanded by the Education Act 1998 and are regularly reviewed by ERO. In 2012 we were relicensed by The Ministry of Education under the obligations of the new Act.
