BRIEF HISTORY OF INTERNATIONAL HOPE SCHOOL

Established in 1996 and inaugurated by the then president of Turkey, H.E. Siileyman Demirel in March 1997, International Hope School Bangladesh (IHSB) is an English-medium school with five branches in Dhaka, Chattogram and Bogura.

Formerly known as International Turkish Hope School, IHSB follows the Cambridge curriculum, from toddler to ‘A’ level standard. It has both day students and boarders, and caters to the needs of students from diverse cultural backgrounds, from Bangladesh and abroad.

IHSB is proud of its attractive campuses and facilities, which include extensive playgrounds, a conference hall, state-of-the-art science and IT laboratories, and well-stocked libraries. With the aim of producing not only academically meritorious but also well-rounded students, IHSB supports a wide range of academic and social activities.

The school is known for its humanitarian efforts, which include gift distribution to needy children on the occasion of Eid, along with iftar packs and relief materials. IHSB offers full scholarship to select students from Class 7 onwards.

The name International Hope School Bangladesh has become synonymous with groundbreaking teaching methodology and an inclusive institutional culture. With its accredited, international standard education and world class school atmosphere, IHSB is rightly recognized as a leading educational institution.

Our experienced teachers and management aim to impart education of the highest standard. Our aim is not solely, however, to achieve academic excellence. Through ethical knowledge and practices, alongside innovation and creativity, we want IHSB graduates to be well-rounded individuals, ready and dynamic and cmpetent to face the challenges of the 21st century.
