*Kino-i was officially incorporated in August 2000 with its primary objective of producing new-age content utilizing digital film-making technology, thus indirectly providing and shaping a pool of creative media professionals to cater to the needs of the uprising media industries.

The Kino-i structure was originally devised as a potential network of industry professionals, formed to strengthen the bonds between the new generations of filmmakers and the existing practitioners. Its foremost corporate objective is to promote the growth and development of Malaysian arts. However, since the introduction of Kino-i to the public, our development has taken a leap towards our long-term plans, which was to incorporate Kino-i Sdn Bhd into a fully functional film production studio.

The company also aims to discover and promote the works of new talents while providing the industry with a pool of talented and highly-skilled professionals with the belief that by nurturing these upstarts, Kino-i sdn bhd will be supplying Malaysia with fresh creative minds to further Malaysia’s goal of not only to be a developed nation by the year 2020 but a also a nation filled with the richness of arts and crafts. Apart from that, Kino-i will also be doing its part in shaping the digital media industry in this part of the world.
