Such practices have been developed, tried and proven over thousands of years which is why Chinese medicine is often referred to as traditional Chinese medicine, or TCM. Increasingly it is being called just Chinese medicine (CM), partly out of recognising that CM can better serve today’s world by increasing the evidence base for its diagnosis and practice, as well as relying on the strength of results observed and documented by practitioners over many centuries.
NZCCM’s qualifications approved and accredited by NZQA are taught in English only. NZCCM is rated as a Category 2 PTE by NZQA and designated the only TCM tertiary education organisation to be Confident in Educational Performance and Confident in the capability in self-assessment.
NZCCM has been recognised worldwide as a reputable Tertiary Education Provider specialising in the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) field. The qualifications are recognised and accepted by many countries including all signatories of the “Lisbon Recognition Convention (LRC)”.
NZCCM is recognised by the Chinese Ministry of Education and we are listed as a recommended high quality overseas Tertiary Education Provider on China’s Jiaoyu Shewai Jianguan Xinxiwang study abroad website (http://www.jsj.edu.cn/).
